We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager for a 3–6 month contract on Gabriola Island. In this role, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, plan menus, and ensure meals are prepared safely and to a high standard.

Pay: $30/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook meals, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef or kitchen manager.
- Food Safe Certificate mandatory.
- Experience supervising staff and managing kitchen operations.
- Non-slip kitchen shoes.
- Ability to successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
