Concrete and Coatings Labourer

About the Job
Our Client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete restoration, preparation, floor and wall coatings, waterproofing, and concrete polishing. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete restoration and preparation tasks.
- Apply floor and wall coatings.
- Execute waterproofing techniques.
- Conduct concrete polishing.
- Operate construction equipment and tools safely.
- Drive to various job sites as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel toe work boots, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, gloves.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines.
- Tickets and certifications: WHMIS, CSTS, CSO, etc.
- Concrete preparation and polishing and diamond grinding.
- Familiar with tank linings, joint fillings, epoxy floor and wall coatings.
- Restoration services for concrete substrates.
- Available for site work and travel are sometimes required.
