About the Job
Equation Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting Construction General Labourers for temporary, casual, and ongoing assignments with various clients throughout Red Deer and the surrounding area. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work and exposure to a variety of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties.
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials.
- Perform site cleanup and maintain safe, organized work areas.
- Assist with demolition, site preparation, material handling, and other labour-intensive tasks.
- Use basic hand and power tools when required.
- Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Perform additional general labour duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing demanding work.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to accept casual and short-notice assignments as available.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites is an asset.
- Required PPE,
Candidates must have their own:
- CSA-approved steel-toe work boots.
- High-visibility safety vest.
- Hard hat.
- Work gloves.
- Safety glasses.
