About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook for a 3–6 month contract on Gabriola Island, BC. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Job Length: Contract (3–6 Months)
Location: Gabriola Island, BC
Pay: $22–$24/hr (based on experience)
Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menus.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management and kitchen organization as needed.
Requirements:
- Food Safe Certificate (mandatory)
- Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
- Non-slip kitchen shoes.
- Ability to successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
