Our client in Calgary is an industry-leading transportation and supply-chain company, and they are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for the picking, packing, shipping and receiving process to ensure shipments are meeting deadlines. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving, stocking and replenishing orders; efficiently entering information into database.
- Answering phone calls, filing, following up with customers.
- Creating freight bills as needed.
- Updating and processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Manage customers' accounts, updating information as needed.
- Refer direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resource.
- Coordinate between departments effectively.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience working in an office environment is required.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or order picking would be considered an asset.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Ability to meet deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, spoken and written along with customer service skills.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to resolve issues and maintain customer relations.
- Comfortable Monday to Friday shift from 7:30am – 4:00pm.
