About the Job
We are looking for a dependable Dietary Aid to support our kitchen and dining operations on Gabriola Island. This is a contract position with fixed shifts, assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff and clients.
Job Length: Contract (3 to 6 months)
Location: Gabriola Island, BC
Pay: $20/hr
Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in meal preparation and portioning.
- Serve meals to residents or staff as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, healthcare, or food service environment preferred.
- Food Safe Certificate is an asset.
- Non-slip kitchen shoes.
- Ability to successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
