Our client, a new and growing childcare company located in North Calgary, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new organization and contribute to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children from the ground up. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s early development while working alongside a collaborative team committed to providing high-quality care and enriching learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

Provide a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities.
Ensure childcare regulations are adhered to.
Lead children's activities and observe child development and progress.
Foster positive relationships and communication with parents and caregivers.
Support structured programs while creating safe and engaging environments for the children.
Work closely with other educators and childcare staff to create a productive learning environment.
Light cleaning and other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children.
A positive, enthusiastic, patient attitude with the ability interact with children in an encouraging, and engaging manner.
Self-starter who takes initiative to add to the classroom.
Warm and caring individual who loves children.
Must have completed the Alberta Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certificate.
A vulnerable sector check is required.
