Equation Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and dependable General Maintenance Technician II to join our clients team within a healthcare environment in Edmonton AB. This role plays an important part in ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and comfortable for residents, staff, and visitors.
Wage: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour.
Status: Full-Time | Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Position Summary:
While working under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the General Maintenance Technician II will perform daily building maintenance duties including, but not limited to:
- Plumbing leaks and stoppages.
- Lighting repairs and replacements.
- Minor electrical replacements.
- Minor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) troubleshooting and reporting.
- Structural component repairs (carpentry).
- Painting.
- Furniture assembly and repair.
- General maintenance duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of building maintenance experience (healthcare or assisted living preferred).
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset.
- Must be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Clear Criminal Record Check required.
