Inventory and Materials Coordinator

About the Job
We are immediately seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory and Materials Coordinator to support daily manufacturing and production operations in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will coordinate production schedules, monitor workflow progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure materials and resources are available to meet operational deadlines. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist team with cycle counts, working with Inventory team on reconciliations and investigations.
- Track production timelines, inventory levels, and material availability to prevent delays.
- Support and resolve customer order discrepancies, manage product returns.
- Support warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, order picking, driver and courier communication.
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner and escalate delays or operational concerns when necessary.
- Maintain auxiliary and quarantine warehouse.
- Administrative support as required.
- Support compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with ERP Systems
- Strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail
- Positive attitude, willingness to help out where needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Steel toed boots are required
- Forklift and or Reach Truck certification is an asset, in house training will also be provided
