About the Job
Our client in the SE of Calgary (Rocky View County), is an industry-leader in LTL freight. They are getting busier and are looking for experienced Dock Workers to join their team right away! If you have cross-dock and LTL experience, and are confident on the Counterbalance forklift, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trailers.
- Ensure trucks are loaded properly for transportation.
- Track shipments as they arrive and depart.
- Operate the sit-down counterbalance forklift to unload and stage product.
- This position requires 70% dock stocker and 30% office daily.
Requirements:
- Previous LTL / Cross-Dock experience is a must.
- Certification on a sit-down counterbalance forklift is required.
- Must be accurate, efficient, and willing to help wherever is needed.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Must have steel-toed safety footwear in good repair.
- Focused on keeping a clean and safe workspace.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Be reliable, hard-working, with a strong work ethic.
- Must have own transportation as the site is not transit accessible.
About this position:

- Sunday to Thursday shifts available starting at 2.00 pm to 10.30 pm - 40 hours per week.
- Opportunity to work on a 4-day rotation, 10-hour shifts. With possible overtime.
- Position to start immediately.
