About role:
Equation Staffing Solutions is looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a warehouse operations team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment, managing maintenance inventory, and assisting with general building maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Minimize downtime during repairs to ensure operations remain on schedule.
Assist with facility maintenance tasks such as lighting, plumbing, or general repairs as needed.
Support equipment installation and relocation projects.
Maintain accurate service and repair logs.
Manage and track inventory of parts, supplies, and tools to ensure availability for repairs.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and diagrams.
Welding experience is an asset.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Comfortable working around noise, dust, changing temperatures, and moving warehouse equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications are a plus).
