Our residential property management client is currently seeking a professional, proactive, and customer-focused Junior Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential property in St. Albert. This is a permanent opportunity for a junior Property Manager who enjoys building positive relationships with tenants, takes pride in maintaining a well-kept property, and thrives in a hands-on role. Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the residential building to ensure an excellent living experience for tenants
Build strong relationships with tenants to address questions, concerns, and operational needs
Clean and maintain common areas to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming
Conduct routine inspections of common areas and identify maintenance requirements, including mechanical systems, security, garbage and recycling, laundry facilities, and landscaping
Coordinate with the maintenance team to perform minor building and suite maintenance and repairs, and coordinate and contractors and trades for larger maintenance projects and emergency repairs
Market and rent available suites, including advertising vacancies, screening applicants, and completing tenancy documentation
Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, conduct suite inspections, maintain repair records, and prepare vacant suites for new occupants
Collect and deposit rent payments and security deposits while maintaining accurate records

Requirements:

A minimum of two years of Property Manager experience is required
Previous experience working in residential rental properties is considered a strong asset
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with tenants, contractors, and internal support teams
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and respond effectively to changing priorities
