Warehouse Associate - Pallet Repair

About the Job
Equation Staffing is currently seeking Warehouse Associates for Pallet Repair for a client of ours located in Calgary AB. This position will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing wooden pallets to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role is hands-on and requires the use of pneumatic tools and other hand tools in a fast-paced, assembly-style manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming pallets for damage or wear.
- Replace broken or missing boards, nails, and other components.
- Operate pneumatic nail guns, saws, and other hand tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure repaired pallets meet company quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience using pneumatic and hand tools preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60-70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in pallet repair or a similar manufacturing role is an asset.
Work Environment:
- Located in the Foothills Industrial, Calgary.
- Assembly-based manufacturing plant.
- Individual workstations with dedicated tools and repair areas.
