We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and reliable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to help run a smooth office for our client for a one month assignment in Edmonton. This position will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions such as greeting visitors and staff, supporting managers and employees, managing various administrative activities and delivering exceptional client services. Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and direct them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide reception coverage; connect incoming calls and respond to email queries.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments.
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and handling communications.
- Booking travel and accommodations.
- Support the preparation of reports and documents as needed.
- Handle inquiries from internal and external associates in a professional and efficient manner.
- Provide additional administrative support for various teams when necessary.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in an office environment.
- Exceptional communication skills; in-person and over the phone.
- Possess active listening skills with a positive, friendly attitude when greeting clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional composure.
- Self-motivated, and able to work well independently.
- Flexible to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change.
